BENJI
I've had Benji for over a year now, and I'm really lucky to have found her at Reyna's Miracle Dog Rescue. Thank you Reyna. Benji & Daisymae get along great now, they are always by each other's side... where one goes the other one goes... She has come out of her shell, but still a little afraid of strangers. She barks at them (A good watch dog). Daisymae still cry's when I take Benji to the vet and Benji cry's when I take Daisymae also. They don't want to be alone. Last year I took them up to Santa Cruz, CA and they really like playing on the beach. She was learned some tricks (Sit up, down, stay, spin, treat balance on the nose, speak by hand sign).
SOFIA
Hi Reyna.... she's is a big success...everyone adores her and so do we!!! We're calling her Lulu ( so far she doesn't quite respond to her name). Took her to our Vet for a check-up...she just needs to gain a couple of pounds...otherwise she's fine. Very picky eater....she loves cooked chopped turkey mixed with a dog food from the Vet. No luck with the dried stuff! So...we are totally spoiling her I'm afraid. But what a cute face! She follows us everywhere. We've never before let any of our dogs sleep in our bedroom...but this one sleeps on our bedroom floor on a big pillow! She just curls up and stays there all night. Never tried to get on to our bed. She's really very smart. We tried to have her sleep in the breakfast room....but she barked all night. She made a couple of mistakes "pooping", but she learns fast. Deposit that check...she's a keeper for sure! Will send you photos later. Thanks and all best luck with all your future rescues. Edie and Ralph
CHER
Hi Debra and Reyna,
I just wanted to let you know that Cherie is doing great. She now has license, and she also had a full health check-up at the vet. The doctor said that she is in great shape and that she could not be much older than 1.5 years. Except for a slight infection in one of her ears, she has no issues.
I am attaching a few pictures. It's funny that we caught her in bed, because she knows she is supposed to stay in her doggie bed, but she tries to sneak in to a guest room...
We could not have imagined a better dog, so thank you for rescuing her!
Regards,
Agne
SPOTS
We are so happy that Spots has joined our little family. He’s so gentle and sweet that we didn’t believe he was pure boxer! He has such a cuddly personality and tries his hardest to get onto my lap every time I sit down. As I write this, he’s on the couch next to me and his floppy lips are on the laptop keys. (Definitely my little shadow) He is doing exceptionally well and bonded immediately with our first boxer, Lola. They wont leave each other’s side and each night I hear him wake up and go over to cuddle on Lola’s pillow. =) They play together all day and love to go on their walks together. He’s also a fast learner! I don’t know how much he knew before we adopted him, but he is doing sit, stay, shake, come, down, off, and “leave it.” Brilliant! We’ve also worked through some of his skittish behavior and he’s very trusting with us now. We love him and couldn’t have hoped for a better puppy.
