Zami
Hi Reyna,
Just wanted to give you an update and some pictures of our cute baby Zami. I attached 3 pictures: one next to our cat Twinkie (you can only see the orange fur of the cat behind Zami), one of Zami outside, and one of her inside looking out the window. My husband and I take so many pictures of Zami its so hard to pick only 3!
Zami continues to amaze us every day. She's all of 7 pounds, has an incredibly stubborn attitude, curls up in bed next to us, gives us lots of kisses, wiggles her body and wags out of control when seeing people, and is just a love. Every day I cannot believe how fortunate we are to have her in our life.
She's so funny. One of our other dogs, Trixie, is about 55 pounds. She and Zami love chasing each other, tugging on toys together and wrestling. Zami jumps on her and really is feisty. Trixie is great with her and seems to know that Zami is only 7 lbs. Zami will bite Trixie's feet or bark at her to get her to play. David and I never get tired of watching the two of them. Our older dog, Tito, doesn't quite know how to play with Zami, but Zami has been trying to engage her. Tito is slowly showing more and more effort and Zami loves her.
We're still trying to figure out the relationship between Zami and our cat, Twinkie. They chase each other a lot (mainly Zami chasing Twinkie) and seem to enjoy being around each other.
Zami goes with me almost everywhere. She loves seeing people and hanging out with me. We just adore her. We're going to start a new round of training classes in March, so that should be good. She's so smart and opinionated and I'm looking forward to more training together.
Enjoy the pictures.

Rayito
Hi Reyna – I hope all is well with you and I think of you often. I still believe that it was God’s grace that sent Rayito to me. He is well, active and as loving as ever. He continues to go into hospitals as a therapy dog every month. I have attached his Christmas picture although this is not something I normally do, a friend of mine was doing it as a fundraiser for her organization. He’s so photogenic, there are a couple more – I just love him to death and have hundreds of photos of him.
Just had to write and tell you that Rayito has become officially certified as a Therapy Dog (this last Saturday). He passed with flying colors and EVERYBODY loved him. He will soon be visiting the children of Shriners Hospital . We will be working with an organization called Love on 4 Paws and Rayito has already received his official vest. I’ll send you a picture as soon as I have one. I’m so excited for the opportunity to share him with others that need a bright spot in their day. I have never stopped counting my blessings that you let Rayito come live with us…he brightens my day, everyday, I’m grateful.
Best regards,
Michele
When you have a chance, look for Rayito on the Love on 4 Paws website. If you click on the bone under his picture, it brings up a bigger picture and it gives a quick paragraph about him.
Carlos
Hi! Hope everything is going well for you - I attached a picture of Carlos at my daughters 7 year old birthday party - he is so cute and still is such a kisser!! He loves playing with a little tennis ball (he is kinda cat-like and paws at it - so cute) - he loves running up and down the hallway chasing the kids and my husband - he has learned all kinds of tricks and will do anything for duck jerky!!

GERONIMO
Just wanted to update you on the puppies. As you can see from the photos below, they are feeling quite at home.
Our cats are slowly adjusting to the interlopers. :0)
We have renamed Geronimo, he is now Buster – as in “You’d better get off that couch right now, Buster!” and “Eat one more shoe, Buster, and you’ll be finding a new place to live!” An idle threat. They are really very good puppies, and they are fast learners. They go for long walks twice a day, but yesterday they did NOT like going out in the rain. They may see their first snow later in the week. That should be interesting.
We are VERY happy with our puppies! They are a wonderful addition to our family.
Thanks again!

Coco
It's been over a year (9/19/08) since we adopted "Coco" aka Presley and we couldn't be happier! He has been such a joy, EVERYBODY who meets him loves him! He has even made huge fans of people who were previously frightened of dogs. Here is a photo of Presley with Matthew taken this past Christmas with their matching snuggies. What a great friend he has made to my son.
Thank you so much! Sincerely, Diana
